Program Overview

The Agro-Technological Park in Seraikela-Kharsawan is a district-level agriculture innovation hub designed to transform rural livelihoods through integrated farming, renewable energy systems, and farmer capacity-building. The park brings together multiple components—horticulture, livestock, fisheries, apiculture, mushroom cultivation, soil health management, and climate-smart technologies—to create a replicable model of sustainable agriculture.

With demonstration units, structured trainings, and field advisory support, the park enables farmers to adopt diversified income streams and transition toward climate-resilient, resource-efficient farming practices. Infrastructure such as solar-powered irrigation, micro-irrigation systems, and renewable-energy cold storage ensures reduced carbon footprint and improved post-harvest outcomes.
The park also strengthens farmer institutions through FPO formation, governance support, and market-oriented training.
