Better World Foundation has assisted National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) in creating a roadmap for Farmers Producers Organisations (FPOs) and helped facilitate the creation of a documentary upholding NABARD’s road map in facilitation of FPOs, its challenges and success. NABARD has promoted 150 FPOs in the state of Jharkhand.
It is imperative that cultivators be sensitized about the state of affairs in the FPO space and come forth to engage in collective activities. We strongly believe that awareness and outreach interventions are a prerequisite to develop an impactful and high outreach-oriented communication strategy to enhance the visibility of NABARD’s portfolio and work undertaken therein in the interest of the agricultural community.
