Program Overview

The Foundation supports existing and newly formed FPOs—such as the Haribandh Goat Gola Farmers Producer Company Limited—by strengthening their governance, business planning, record-keeping, market outreach, and member participation.

Support includes:

• Training on cooperative governance & legal compliance
• Business development support
• Market linkage facilitation
• Pricing, procurement & collective bargaining strategies
• Exposure visits & model demonstrations
• Onboarding women & marginalized farmers as active members

These interventions create stronger, transparent, and commercially viable collectives that can engage more equitably in agricultural markets.
